E-JAM will be conducting a series of Power Workshops designed to provide information and hands on skills training in three basic areas: 1) Getting a Job in 2009, 2) Starting Your Own Business and 3) Basic Computer Skills.

The Power Workshops will OFFER three CLASSES:

  2. Starting Your Own Business – Many experts believe that right now is the best time to start a business, despite the current downturn. It is a good time to get great deals from buying equipment to renting commercial office space. There are many agencies and banks with special lending programs for small and mini businesses. This empowerment presentation is also perfect for small business owners who have already taken the plunge.
  3. Basic Computer Skills - This workshop is designed for individuals who have no, or limited knowledge, or comfort in using a computer. We will walk you through the basic steps in using a computer, including usage of the mouse and keyboard.
