ARE WE CONFUSING MEN ABOUT THEIR ROLE IN SOCIETY?

There has been a lot of talk lately in the media here in Jamaica about the marginalization of males in our society. In fact, this has become rampant in many countries.

Are we confusing men about their role in the world as media images of stupid, or abusive fathers degrades and minimizes masculinity?

Boys are falling further behind in school, spending more time in remedial classes, have a higher dropout rate than girls; more are on drugs and more are in jail.
